Secure Campus

St. Joseph is a SECURE Campus, therefore the front doors will be locked from 9 am– 3:20 pm. Student/Visitors must ring the front office in order to gain access to the building. Students/Visitors must check in with the front office through the main doors at the front to gain entry into the building. STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIREED TO SCAN THEIR ID FOR RE-ENTRY.

Bookstore and Business Office

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and  Friday:     8:15 am to 8:40 am         11:15 am to 11:45 am      3:25 pm to 4:00 pm Thursday:                                                               8:15 am to 8:40 am         12:20 pm to 12:45 pm Student ID cards must be visible at all times. If you have lost your card, the Bookstore can print a new one. Fees may apply.

Bus Passes and ID Cards

Bus passes will be for sale beginning the first two weeks of the month, and 10th day into the next month. IDs are required.   There are NO single bus tickets available at the school

Cafeteria

The school cafeteria is an instructional area for our students registered in Culinary Arts/Foods.  Students and faculty are encouraged to purchase food prepared by our culinary crew. This realistic work/classroom environment is considered to be a commercial cafeteria; therefore, all persons using the cafeteria will  help maintain the facility by cleaning the tables and using garbages/recycle/bottle return and returning plates, trays and cutlery to proper areas  Cafeteria Hours (Subject to change) Breakfast Club - 8:15 am- 8:35 am – Sponsored by the Breakfast Clubs of Canada & Local Businesses Lunch Service - 11:11 am -11:41 am - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, with no lunch service on Thursday - Hours of operation are subject to change depending on activities in the building 

Hallways, Stairwells, Entrances and Elevators

Elevators are for use by staff, disabled persons or students with an Approved Elevator Pass ONLY! No Movement Time: no movement during seminar &/or GCL Blocks. Students are expected to be in their classroom, on the learning floor or in designated areas only. Students will be asked to move to an appropriate area if found loitering in hallways, stairwells or entrances.

Locks and Lockers

Students are assigned individual locks and lockers which they must retain.  Lockers are not to be shared, must be locked at all times, and combinations kept confidential.  Lockers are school property and on are loan, and as such, the school reserves the right to inspect the contents at any time without consent.  The school is not responsible for money/valuables stolen from lockers. Only school provided locks may be used. The school is not responsible for items left at the end of the school year.  

Student and Visitor Parking

All parking is assigned.  Students are not allowed to park on school property, and if found doing so, may have their vehicles tagged and towed at the owner’s expense.  Parking on 109th street or on neighboring streets is permitted. Visitors must obey all signs. Pick up and drop off of students is only available at the front of the school and cannot take place in the staff parking lot.

School Assemblies and Celebrations

Attendance at school assemblies and liturgical celebrations during school time is mandatory. Students will participate in a polite and respectful manner. Unless otherwise noted, all assemblies will take place on in the Fr. Michael Troy Gym.

Visitors

All visitors must report to the main office to obtain a visitor’s pass. St. Joseph is a SECURE campus and not open to students from other schools. Arrangements must be made to meet friends off campus. Unwanted visitors may be charged with trespassing.
