Application Process to Attend St. Joseph High School
St. Joseph High School welcomes applications for students from across the city. While we welcome your registration request through PowerSchool Intentions or School Engage, your request and subsequent application will be reviewed by administration. Your child's application to attend St. Joseph High School may or may not result in an acceptance to attend the school.

Step One
Within ECSD
If you are a student currently with Edmonton Catholic Schools, please declare your intention to come to St. Joseph High School. Once you have completed this step, return to this page and follow the steps listed below.
Outside ECSD
Students that are not currently registered with Edmonton Catholic Schools must first create an account in School Engage. This will provide you an opportunity to upload documents that are necessary for your registration in Edmonton Catholic Schools. Once you have completed this step, return to this page and complete the steps that follow.
Step Two
Once you have completed the above steps, please be aware of the following information:
- Students who are currently at St. Joseph High School will be completing their applications at the school. These are an in-person application that occurs with their TAs.
- Grade Nine Students who wish to apply will have an opportunity to register through their junior high school providing they are a feeder school to St. Joseph. Staff will go to the school to help register students. If you miss the opportunity to apply in person at your school or in person, please click on the Non-ECSD or Out of Catchment link to complete the process. Applications are open now. If you wish to register in person because your child missed the in-school application or you are a non-ECSD or non-catchment area student, our Application Day is Saturday, March 11th from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the school.
- Grade Nine Students who are not in the St. Joseph catchment area, continuing students entering year four or five in their high school journey or online student applicants will use the links below to submit their request.
- The document you submit is part of your application to St. Joseph High School. Once the documents have been reviewed, an member of our team will be in contact with you regarding your application.
- The school will contact applicants throughout the month of April.
- Applications submitted after the deadline will be processed in a timely manner.
